Time spent at the gun range with his father instilled focus, patience, and respect for precision—qualities that would later guide his approach to woodworking. Another defining influence was the biker lifestyle. Growing up at his aunt’s biker bar, Just Plain Janes in Jackson, NJ, he was immersed in the raw artistry of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the riding community. The chrome lines, powerful engines, and custom designs became a source of inspiration that blended seamlessly with his love for building things by hand.

These experiences—woodshop classes, days at the range with his dad, late nights with friends, and the biker bar culture—all came together to inspire the vision of Distinguished Wood Co.
